Born in north west London, CE (Charles Ebose) is a self taught producer/singer-songwriter. After graduating Brit school he focused on sound engineering and making r&b music sound like the future CE sings r&b melodies over heavy bass, he explores life, love and the human condition. Why do we love what hurts? The validation, the expectations and the experiences that make or break us, he details the life of a black male Londoner having to navigate through ends, religion and politics. “Influences come from r&b ballads to trap rap and then to grime and garage from the early 2000s. The ability to story tell with energy, expanding on such a small detail and creating storylines that really resonate.” He is focused on the different feelings music can provide.
